  • sugar - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • eggs-3
  • milk- 500ml
  • vanilla essence- 1tsp
  • water- 4tsp

Preparation method

  1. Take a small skillet. add 1/2 cup sugar in it and sprinkle 4tsp of wateerr and stir it nicely. til the sugar is dissolved and the mixture becomes brown in colour. and transfer the contents(caramel) on to a bowl(suitable for hot oven)
  2. In a bowl, add 3 eggs ,sugar, vanilla essence and whisk it nicly til everything gets incorporated well
  3. Now add 500ml of milk to the mixture and whisk it again nicely and strain it using a filter
  4. Now pour the milk-sugar-egg mixture on the caramel (step 1)
  5. Preheat the oven @ gas -5 . and keep the caramel bowl in a double boiler,  inside the oven for 45 minutes   [double boiler - keep a pan of water and then place the caramel bowl inside the watered bowl ]
  6. After itz done, take it out, and scrape the sides of the bowl (keep a plate close to hte bowl and turn it upside down) so that the caramel gets transfered to the plate .
  7. Serve immediately
