Ingredients

  • Onions- 4
  • grated Coconut- 2 tsp 
  • Red Chillies - 4 -5 
  • urad dhal - 1 tsp
  • Salt to to taste
 
for tadka
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • hing a pinch
 
 

Preparation method

  • heat oil in a pan, add urad dhal, onions , dry chillies  and allow it to cool.
  • Add lil tamrind (1/4 tsp) and grind coarsely without adding water.  
  • Heat oil, season with mustard seeds and hing and pour on top of chutney and mix well.
