Ingredients

  • boiled rice=2 cups
  • ****curry leaves powder=3 tbsp
  • ghee=1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • small onions=50gms (whole)
 
To prepare  curry leaves powder:
  • curry leaves= 50 gms
  • asfoetida=a pinch
  • bengal gram dal=2tbsp
  • raw rice=2 tbsp
  • toor dal=1 tbsp
  • red chillies=4 nos
  • pottu kadalai=3 tbsp
 
 

Preparation method

Dry roast all the above ingredients listed for the powder and grind it to a fine powder

heat ghee in a pan

add small onions and fry well
 
add curry leaves powder and fry well
 
add rice and salt & toss well, so that the masala spreads all through the rice
