Ingredients

  • cooked rice - 2 cups
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • cashew- 5 
  • almonds- 5
  • sugar- 1 cup
  • raisins- 5
  • saffron - 2-3 strands

Preparation method

  1. boil milk in a pan, add sugar to it. add 2-3 strands of saffron to it  and stir nicely for about 2-5 minutes 
  2. then add rice to it and keep stirring, so that it doesn't burn at the bottom
  3. cook til it reaches the desired consistency 
  4. then add cardamom powder to it and give it a stir 
  5. then add roasted cashews, almonds and raisins.
  6. tasty rice kheer s ready
