Ingredients
- Boiled basmati rice.= 3 cups
- Cooked green gram= 1 cups
- Ghee=2tbsp
- Mustard=1 tsp
- Asafeotida=pinch
- Red chillies=4 nos
- Curry leaves= a sprig
- Roasted & powdered urad dal=2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder=1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste.
Preparation method
- Heat ghee in a kadai and splutter mustart seeds , add a pinch asafeotida ,red chillies and curry leaves
- Add turmeric and urad dal powder into the pan and sauté it well in slow fire
- Add green gram and boiled rice, stir it well
- add salt and cook this in slow fire stirring continuously
- Serve with a strong pickle
